Carlos Cuéllar's Bnei Yehuda lost to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the best match of game-week 13 of the Israeli Premier League. The game between the first and second on the table, both sides from Tel Aviv, took place at the HaMoshava Stadium and ended 1-3. Maccabi took the lead thanks to Yonatan Cohen, former Bnei player, in the 14 minute. The goal complicated Yehuda, that seemed to get anxious. Soon after the first goal, and after an unfortunate action, Shechter scored the second.
The local team gave everything and forced Maccabi's keeper to show his abilities in three chances. The 1-2 scored by Konstantini in the 57 minute followed these actions and made the Bnei fans believe in the equaliser for a while. Until Cohen scored the goal of the night in the 70 minute, after a stunning effort to the top corner while pouring rain fell at HaMoshava. From there on, there were a few more chances for both teams but didn't change the result. The next challenge for Bnei Yehuda will be next Sunday 16 December against FC Ashdod.
