Bnei Yehuda could not win the all powerful Maccabi Tel Aviv again. Carlos Cuéllar's team has been the only team capable of beating Maccabi in the domestic tournaments this season (Bnei won them in the State Cup), but this time was a different story as the match was conditioned by Mori's sending-off in the 34 minutes. Rikan put Maccabi in front just before the break and Cohen made the 2-0 in stoppage time.
Despite the difficulties and finishing with 10 men, I'm proud of all my teammates. We gave everything till the end. 💪🏽 #ProudOfMyTeam #BneiYehuda pic.twitter.com/uHgmApK6dx

Despite playing with 10 men for an hour, Bnei Yehuda did not give up against their city rivals and proudly fought the 90 mins. Carlos, who played the full match, will be back in action on 29 April hosting Maccabi Haifa. At the moment, Bnei is fifth in the play-off for the title and three points behind the fourth place.
