After 12 matchdays, Almería finally managed to keep their first clean sheet of the season at Alcorcón, a fact highlighted by Carlos: “The truth is that a point was earned which feels like a victory to us because we knew that Santo Domingo is a difficult Segunda División ground. It’s clear that by keeping a clean sheet we will pick up many points and that will serve to boost our confidence”.
