Elche CF has announced the appointment of a new head coach for its reserve team. Carlos Cuéllar will lead Elche Ilicitano during the 2025/2026 season in the fourth tier of Spanish football. The Madrid-born coach, born on August 23, 1981, arrives in Elche as a strong and ambitious choice, aiming to follow the path set by Eder Sarabia with the first team. He comes to the city of palms with a clear objective: to facilitate the growth and integration of young players into the club’s dynamic structure.
Carlos Cuéllar’s career path speaks for itself. He has been fully committed to youth football throughout his coaching journey. He has managed the U19 teams of CD Leganés and UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, and has also been involved in grassroots projects both in Spain and abroad. His most recent role was at Real Murcia Imperial, where he led the team to the promotion playoffs in Tercera Federación. His extensive experience as a professional footballer has played a key role in his arrival at Elche.
