The level that Carlos Cuéllar reached in the 2007/08 season has left him in the Rangers history books. His mark remains 14 years later. In fact, the 'Rangers News' website has recently referred to him in two articles.
In one of them, Cuéllar is cited as the holder of the record for most games with the club in a campaign (he played 65). In the other, they include his name as one of the few non-Scottish footballers who have won the 'Scottish Football Writers' Association Player of the Year' award since it was established in 1965. In that exclusive list he appears with stars such as Brian Laudrup or Henrik Larsson.
