During these days Carlos has lived an incredible experience as a footballer. At his 35 years of age the defender from Madrid has played on the 25th of December for the first time in his life. He had already played on Boxing Day, but never during the 25th.
'El Larguero' (a radio program in Spain from la Cadena SER) interviewed the centreback to get to know his life over there and talk about his first months in Maccabi Petah Tikva. "99% of the country doesn't celebrate Christmas as we do. I don't have the impression of being in Christmas", said Carlos. Something that seems quite odd for the occidental point of view, but it is normal in a country that is nearly completely Judaist.
Cuéllar, by the way, achieved the three points during Christmas Day. Maccabi Petah Tikva won 2-0 to Hapoel Raanana.
