Benches now have their leaders

The 2025/26 Tercera Federación season officially kicks off on September 7th, but many of the teams that will compete in Group XIII are already moving quickly. Most squads are nearly complete, and crucially, all clubs have secured the most important piece: their head coach. The most eye-catching change on the benches comes from Imperial, following Carlos Cuéllar’s decision to step down, despite having renewed his contract in May.

Cuéllar Bids Farewell to  mperial. The most notable departure is undoubtedly that of Carlos Cuéllar. Real Murcia Imperial had once again placed their trust in the former Osasuna defender to push for promotion. After a first season where the team came close to moving up, and a second campaign—despite a more limited squad—in which the playoff spot slipped away in the final stretch, both Felipe Moreno and the sporting department still saw Cuéllar as a key figure and the ideal man to lead the reserves to a higher division. However, after receiving an offer from Elche Ilicitano, the coach held talks with the Murcian club and chose to take on a new challenge. His replacement is a familiar face: Adrián Colunga. The Asturian coach led the club’s U19s two seasons ago and now returns to take charge of the Grana's main youth side.....
