On april 2022
Carlos Cuéllar has started his first adventure on the bench. After his training period as a coach, he now has the opportunity to contribute his knowledge and experience to UD San Sebastián de los Reyes (popularly known as Sanse), a Madrid team belonging to Group I of the RFEF First Division.

Carlos has joined the coaching staff headed by Miguel Ángel Martínez ('Lobo') as an assistant. The project has another illustrious former player, Javier Casquero, in the sports management.
In this way, after having worked as a commentator on programs such as 'El Tercer Tiempo', Cuéllar returns to daily work on a soccer team. That was his illusion when he retired and he has prepared for it. Surely his return to the playing fields will bring him great moments and unique sensations.
