Grant Holt's 17th goal of the season helped Norwich City to a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa at Carrow Road as the Canaries secured a 12th-place finish in their first season back in the Premier League. Holt opened the scoring after 11 minutes before Simeon Jackson doubled the Canaries' advantage 12 minutes later, with the home side going on to keep only their third clean sheet of the season. Carlos Cuéllar played 67 minutes and he went to give thanks to the supporters in King Carlos Day.
