Elche Club de Fútbol has appointed Carlos Cuéllar as the new head coach of Elche Ilicitano for the 2025/26 season in Segunda Federación. The Madrid-born coach joins the club’s reserve team as part of Elche CF’s commitment to a profile aligned with the first team’s working methodology, led by Eder Sarabia. The objective is to facilitate the growth and integration of young players into the club’s professional structure.
Carlos Javier Cuéllar Jiménez (Madrid, 23/08/1981) arrives after an impressive season with Real Murcia Imperial in Tercera Federación, where he led the team to the promotion playoffs. Previously, he developed his coaching career in youth football, working with the U19 teams of CD Leganés and UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, as well as in grassroots football projects both in Spain and abroad. His background as a professional player and his experience in youth development make him a long-term investment for the franjiverde club.
Jaime Agraz will complete the coaching staff as assistant coach. He brings experience from Elche CF’s youth academy and has an in-depth knowledge of the club’s player development structure. .Read More
