Sunderland suffered another defeat on their visit to Anfield and lost against Liverpool 2-1. Gerrard and Sturridge were the scorers while Ki, shortened distances without much result. Carlos Cuellar was not summoned by Gustavo Poyet.
From the first minutes, Liverpool showed much higher in the game and, thanks to a foul that sent Captain Red, Steve Gerard, took the lead on the scoreboard. A few minutes later Sturridge party and continued the scoring when everything indicated that boys Brendan Rodgers would win without problems, the Sunderland reacted timidly.
Ki came off the bench to score the only goal for his team and after several minutes that the problems created Sunderland Liverpool, local re-take the initiative to keep on top of the table, opposite the Sunderland , who suffers serious problems in qualifying.
