Norwich City, just a game away of the Premier

Carlos Cuellar's team beats Ipswich Town (3-1) and books a place in Wembley´s final. Norwich City is just a game away of the Premier. After the draw 1-1 in the first leg of the play-off, the Canaries won 3-1 to Ipswich Town to secured a slot in the final at Wembley, where awaits Karanka´s Middlesbrough. Carrow Road vibrated as in the best of times, and the fans who packed the stand enjoyed the last minutes of a game, that was more easy than expected.

The locals, in which Cuellar was not in the lineup, took the lead just after the break, thanks to a goal from Hoolahan, after converting from the penalty spot. The same action that was worth a penalty and supposed Berra´s red card. However, shortly after Ipswich Town levelled the score, thanks to Smith. But McCarthy's men joy did not last too long as Redmond (64 minutes) and Jerome (76) scored for the canaries to close the match.

The next 25 May, Wembley will host one of the most special games of the season in England. The final of the promotion play-off to the Premier League. The best scenario for Norwich to return to the top flight of British football.
