Almería lose to Mallorca (1-0) in a tight game that was resolved near the end. The team, managed for the first time by Joan Carrillo, played with better attitude than in previous weeks. Unfortunately a goal from Brandon Thomas in the 81 minute left Almería with no time for reaction.
Hazdic, Michel Macedo and José Ángel had chances to score for Almería before Thomas decided the game. The goal closed a game where the Andalusian team showed a better face. Their position in the table is not the best, but the new manager has a squad with potential, and Cuéllar will be back soon to help in defense.
Possibly, the centre back will be available for the game against Valladolid next Sunday at 19.15 pm.
