Carrillo's work is beginning to appear on the team's game, although the win hasn't come yet. Almería's UD drew 1-1 against Valladolid in a match in which they deserved to win, but nearly lost before first half. Carlos Cuéllar, who recovered from his injury on Friday, was reserved by Joan until he gains some rythm again after a couple of weeks out.
Almería, solid in defence and dangerous when attacking, got ahead with a goal from Quique González (55'), but Mojica scored the equalizer on the 63'. Chuli missed a penalty that could've given the three points and in stoppage time, a controversial penalty for Valladolid ended up with a marvellous save by Casto.
The 1-1 leaves a bittersweet taste, but thegame's improvement has to be highlighted. an improvement that will be tested again next Sunday as Almería will visit Alcorcón. Carlos Cuéllar will be fully recovered and in good shape on that day.
