UD Almería drew on their visit to Tarragona's Nou Estadi thanks to several interventions from Cuéllar, both while attacking and defending. The final 2-2, against one of the fittest teams in the league, proves that the Andalusians are capable of confronting anyone. Carlos was a starter next to Morcillo. It's his third match this week and he has played all minutes. He's the only one of the team who has done that, a clear sign of the importance of the player from Madrid.
The match didn't start well for Almeria. Nàstic got ahead on the second minute, but Almería reacted as a big team. They ended up controlling the match and didn't stop pushing until Lolo Reyes, on the 16', scored the equalizer. Carrillo's team could've got ahead, however, Álex López took advantage of a rejection to score the 2-1.
From then onwards, the best chances were for Almería. Lolo, Reyes, Zongo, Hadzic, Iago Díaz, Chuli... At last, it was Carlos Cuéllar himself who headed a ball after a free kick, but it was Álex López who accidentally got the ball in on the 87'. Then, in stoppage time after a decisive chance from Chuli, Carlos was crucial again as he stopped a counter attack from the locals. In spite of their difficult position on the table, Carlos' and his team's attitude is incredible. They can only keep in working and take the three points out of Huesca.
