Almería lost to Huesca 2-1 and still in the bad run of results. Carlos, once more in the Starting XI, played the full 90 minutes and made couple with Fran Vélez in the centre of the defense, in a game that went very wrong since the beginning.
Although the run of six consecutive draws in the league had given a bit of hope to Almería, despite their problems, they were not losing. A clear chance from Chuli, in the first minutes of the game, confirmed that good feeling but Luis Fernández goal from free kick was a serious setback for Almería. Huesca scored the second just before the break, easing the game for the visitors.
After the break, Carlos and the rest of the team seemed determine to fight back in get close on the score. So did Chuli although Almería could not level the game in the last minutes. At the end of the game Carlos talked to the club´s radio and stressed how difficult is to play when you are behind in the score and also that the team had a few chances to level the game in the second half.
