Almería started 2016 in the best way possible. UD, a team that couldn't count with Carlos Cuéllar, beat Llagostera 2-1 at the Juegos Mediterráneos stadium. Quique González and Fatau were in charge of scoring the goals for Gorosito's team. The Andalusian team ended up their bad streak with three golden points.
Fran Vélez and Morcillo were in charge of the defence after Cuéllar's absence. This win means a good starting point for the new coach. Next Saturday, Almería will visit Mirandés with the aim of certifying this improvement.
