This Sunday's Alavés-Almería match will have an encounter of two old friends. Carlos Cuéllar and Dani Pacheco will meet again. The difference of age was never an issue for maintaining a good relationship.
Carlos arrived at Almería on Summer after spending several seasons in English leagues. Dani Pacheco, at 25, has also accumulated plenty of experience on the islands. They've never shared lockers but both of them played for Norwich and the two of them achieved a promotion to the Premier League with the Canaries (Carlos in 2015 and Dani in 2011). Now, in Second Division, they also compete outside the pitch on social networks.
This Sunday they'll meet again at Mendizorroza (12.00 am). Cuéllar, who has recovered from his injury since a couple of days ago, will play again. Pacheco, on his side, is one of the great stars of Alavés, they are leaders of the Second Division.
