UD Almería was too close to get the three point in Mendizorroza (1-1). Carlos Cuéllar return to the starting XI and played 90 minutes, in a game where the visitants had a great performance. Just the late goal from Raúl García, 88 minute, denied Almería the victory against Alaves, leader of the league.
Gorosito played three centre-backs. With Cuéllar, Saveljich who scored in the first minute of the game, and Ximo Navarro. Carlos completed a good game, although is not at his best yet. In the 13 minute, he participated in a corner kick that Quique González nearly score. Almería defense controlled most of the Alavés attacks with no much trouble, even though Alavés has several offensive options.
Any point away from home has its value, but must be accompanied by home wins. Even more so if you face a team that pursues the same objectives. That is the case for Albacete that will visit Almería next weekend (kick off Sunday at 17pm).
