A great goal from Pozo in extra time let Almería achieve a great win against Albacete (1-0). Carlos Cuéllar was a starter in Gorosito's defence but he had to leave at half time due to some pain. Kalu Uche came in for him on the second half.
Along with Saveljich and Ximo Navarro, Carlos formed a very strong defence during the first half. While attacking, Almería had several chances throughout the match including a shot to the crossbar, a second goal that could have given more calmness.
This win leaves UD Almería very near salvation, at only one point, although Huesca and Mallorca have a match less. At least good things are happening lately for Gorosito's men, obliged to fight against all circumstances since the beginning of the season.
