Almería suffered but they walked a step forward to avoid relegation. Gorosito's men won (1-0) against Girona thanks to a goal from Quique González on the 16'. Carlos, with his right leg injured, couldn't play.
The defensive solidity proved before remains. With Cuéllar as a starter, Almería had only received one goal in three games. A good streak that has let Almería add up their second consecutive win as locals (after beating Albacete), something that didn't happen since the first and third game week. Almería's fans have at last a motive to be happy.
