Carlos Cuéllar's Maccabi Petah Tikva lost its first game in the league against Hapoel Beer Sheva, current League champion. A defeat (5-0) that means the first defeat in the Israeli league for Carlos after six games. Cuéllar once more started the game and played the 90 minutes in the centre of the defense.
Despite the defeat Petah Tikva stays third in the table, five points adrift the leader, Maccabi Tel Aviv. The next league tie will be next Saturday 22 against Yehuda, ninth in the table in the Israel Premier League.
