Six months were enough for Carlos Cuéllar to feel absolutely integrated and happy In Israel. After spending his career in Spain and Great Britain, the Spanish defender decided on Summer 2016 to accept Maccabi Petah Tikva's proposal and experience a new challenge.
Things couldn't have been better for Carlos as today he is the undisputed defender of the revelation team of the League in Israel, where they have only lost 3 matches of 22.
Outside the pitch, Carlos Cuéllar is also living an extraordinary life. In this zone of the world he finds a great variety of ingredients and nourishment to ellaborate his detailed menus and the good climate helps him find and get to know new places. In Petah Tikva Carlos enjoys his coffees and calm streets and when he wants something more bustling he goes to Tel Aviv with its beaches and markets. Also the Art Museum of the city and its collections of every kind.
Carlos Cuéllar also finds time to visit Jerusalem, one of the most fascinating cities in the world where he takes friends from Spain. With his own car he has travelled through incredible landscapes and places like the ruins of Cesárea, Galilea's sea or the Orthodox Monastery of San Jorge de Coziba, places that are a proof of the great mixture of cultures in this part of the world. Carlos is interested about all of them and shares his photos and videos on Social Networks, where he has more than 200.000 followers.
With a great future ahead, Carlos is receiving in Israel the merit he deserves after such a great work throughout his career and his capacity to empathize with his teammates in a natural way.
