After two consecutive wins, Cuéllar's Kiryat Shmona drew 0-0 in their visit to Hapoel Ashkelon. Third game in a row (two in the league and one in the Toto Cup) for the Madrilenian centre back team without conceding. Cuéllar, who once again started the game, is responsible of part of that defensive work.
Hapoel Ironi deserved the win, but lacked of accuracy facing the goal. Now Carlos Cuéllar and his team-mates are one point behind the sixth place of the Israeli league. It is the last place that gives access to the play-offs. To climb up to the sixth place is the first target for Kiryat Shmona in the domestic competition.
The next league game will be on the 25 Nov against Bnei Yehuda. Now, the international break will give Carlos Cuéllar some time to rest in a season he is performing at a great level.
