It was a special day and Carlos Cuéllar lived a game full of good memories at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow. The legends of Rangers FC lost against the legends of Liverpool (2-3), but the result, as in any match of these characteristics, did not matter much. The date was a party that had an unbeatable prologue with the money raised for the foundations of both clubs at the gala dinner last night (in which Carlos also participated).
👏 We’re delighted to announce that tonight’s Legends Gala Dinner has raised £22,500, which will be split evenly between @RFC_Charity & @LFCFoundation!

Cuéllar, who came out in the initial 11 of the legends of the Rangers, shared team again with former teammates such as Kris Boyd and Nacho Novo. Opposite were former Liverpool players like Carragher, Gerrard, Kuyt, Heskey or Luis García. The local goals were the work of Boyd and Lovenkrands. For Liverpool scored Luis García, Berger and Heskey. All this in the middle of a great atmosphere in the stands of the Ibrox.

Rangers has been a very special club in the trajectory of Carlos Cuéllar. Although he was only one season (2007/08) he lived unforgettable moments. He won two titles (League Cup and Scottish Cup), played the UEFA Cup final and was distinguished with two individual awards: the 'Scottish Premier League Player of the Year' and the 'Scottish Football Writers Association's Player of the Year '. His level in the 65 games he played was outstanding (he scored five goals, his record in a season).
Amazing to be back out on this pitch with so many legends! Very emotional to wear a Rangers shirt again. See you soon! 💙🐻 #RangersFC pic.twitter.com/ybvB2Vkj86
