Another bitter end for Aston Villa. Houllier's team played a remarkable match against Manchester United, but they lost two points in the last minutes with the Macheda and Vidic goals.
An Ashley Young`s penalty (72 minute) and a close-range finish from Marc Albrighton only four minutes put Villa on top with 14 minutes left, but Manchester United rallied in the last minutes to salvage a point and maintain their unbeaten record this season.
The villains, without nine players through injury or illness like Carlos Cuéllar, couldn't celebrate their first home win over the Red Devils in 15 years.
Aston Villa is still very close to european places. They will play again next 21 november against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.
