Almería ended up the year with disappointment. Oviedo beat Carrillo's team at the Carlos Tartiere (1-0) and proved that they are very strong at home again. Carlos Cuéllar, starter next to Morcillo as centrebacks, played all 90 minutes. In extra time, the defender from Madrid was just about to score but found an incredible Esteban instead.
Almería started losing quite early as has happened before. Toché scored on the 11', a goal that ended up being decisive. It was a big blow because the Andalusians started well and had a couple of chances thanks to Zongo and Soriano. Behind in the score, the team tried to beat Esteban with no success and their last chance was Cuéllar's.
This defeat makes Almería say goodbye to 2015 with bad sensations. Carlos and teammates will have to take advantage of Christmas holidays to forget the latest defeats and get ready to react in 2016. On the 3rd of January against Llagostera the UD will play again.
