Maccabi Petah Tikva bumped into Hapoel Ashkelon (1-1). An unexpected score as for the diference in the ranking. Carlos was a starter and played all 90 minutes. He was also present on the attacking zone with a header that went out by little and a long pass from the left that could've ended in a goal. His presence is crucial for the coach, Kobi Refua. Hapoel got ahead first on the score but Maccabi scored the equalizer before half time.
Carlos and his teammates tried without success to score the goal of the victory on the second half. The 1-1 proves the evenness of Israel's Premier League, a tournament that is open to surprises. In spite of not winning, Maccabi Petah Tikva we'll remain on the top positions of the table.
