Maccabi Petah Tikva achieved a new win. Carlos Cuéllar and his teammates are progressing firmly in what it's being for them a spectacular season. This time the victim was Hapoel Kiryat Shmona, that lost 0-1. Carlos, recovered from a minor injury, came back to Maccabi's line-up. Was part of a defence that hold to one of the best squads of the league.
The visitors, that took the lead in the 65 minute thanks to Gabay, had to face the last stretch of the game with 10 men after Leroy was sent off but the Petah Tikva team maintain the result. The win allows them to keep the second place of the league with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Maccabi Petah Tikva's run is outstanding. 12 games without a defeat and has won three of the last four matches. In the mean while, they have reached the quarter-finals of the Cup. Kobi Refua's side, in which Cuéllar has become a key player, is not willing to stop the winning streak.
